Ledgent Finance & Accounting - Temp to Hire or Direct Hire
Our client in the manufacturing industry located in Rancho Cordova is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, the ability to manage the full accounting cycle independently, and confidence working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, GL maintenance, and month-end close.
Process payroll (in-house or through payroll service provider) ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports.
Handle job costing, inventory adjustments, and cost allocations related to manufacturing production.
Maintain the chart of accounts, reconcile sub-ledgers, and ensure accurate posting of all transactions.
Prepare and file sales tax, use tax, and assist with year-end audits.
Manage vendor relationships, credit applications, and payment schedules.
Support budgeting activities and assist leadership with analytical reporting.
Oversee fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
3+ years Full Charge Bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong experience with QuickBooks (desktop or online).
Payroll processing experience required.
Solid understanding of cost accounting or willingness to learn manufacturing job costing.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel; strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
